Another fabulous breakfast. This one from Fern Lee Guest House in Carlisle. We got a cool old fashioned cab to the train station. The really old kind that you can walk into and hardly have to bend your head, and it’s like a room inside so your luggage can sit beside you.

And when we arrived in Southport D&F were there to greet us and take us to Britain’s smallest pub.

9They dont serve food (apparently they’re too small to have a kitchen) so we went to our hotel for lunch. We did stop for a quick drink though.

I think those tables were freshly polished.

It was a good day of fabulously delicious food and really good friends. Old friends are the best!
